EasyBadge — Privacy Policy

EasyBadge is a Shopify app developed by EasyByte Hub S.Coop.Mad. (Madrid, Spain). This policy explains what data the app processes and how.

Data we process

EasyBadge does not collect or store personal data about your customers (buyers). To provide its functionality the app processes only:

• Store identifier (your myshopify.com domain) and the OAuth access token needed to talk to the Shopify Admin API.
• Badge rules you create (conditions on product tag, type, vendor or stock level, and the badge text/colors). This is store configuration, not personal data.
• Read-only product catalog data (tags, type, vendor, variants) via the read_products scope, used to populate rule selectors. It is not stored beyond what is needed to serve the app.

Badges are evaluated on the storefront from product data already on the page plus an app-owned metafield holding your rules. The app makes no external calls with your data.

Data retention and deletion

EasyBadge implements Shopify’s mandatory compliance webhooks. On shop/redact (sent 48 hours after uninstall) the app deletes all data associated with your store (rules, shop record and sessions). As no customer personal data is stored, customers/data_request and customers/redact have nothing to return or erase.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Data is transmitted over TLS and stored on our infrastructure solely to operate the app.
